Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Are you looking for a friendly rewarding place to work? Then look no further! We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to round out our team. Duties include but are not limited to entering accounts payable invoices, posting adjusting entries and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing reports, assisting others in the department as needed, and ordering and disbursing supplies for all departments.
The ideal candidate will have taken college level accounting classes and a minimum of 2 years-experience in an accounting department. Prior credit union or banking experience is preferred. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is energetic, proactive, and driven to help themselves and as a result to help the credit union be successful.
