Sr Accountant Job Opening in The Dalles, Oregon - Purpose of Position : Create and maintain an accurate reporting for GOBHI in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
Summary of Essential Job Functions :
Support month-end and year end close process including bank reconciliations and maintenance of general ledger.
Prepare financial statements.
Assist with audits and preparation of tax returns.
Create reports for management, Board, committees and providers.
Process invoices and track receivables.
Prepare and submit 1099s annually.
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications :
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field.
Two years related experience or training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
Physical Demands of Position :
Position requires travel within service delivery area and some out of service area travel including overnight travel.
Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment).
Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile devices to exchange information within remote travel areas.
