Client Sales Representative Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Summary/Objective:
Our Client Sales Representatives are responsible for handling inbound calls, completing intake evaluations, scheduling client meetings, handling referrals and after-hours contacts with potential clients.
Essential Functions
Exercise solid knowledge of the firm, with a desire to sell the firm?s brand to potential clients through inbound calls
Follow scripted outline for litigation-specific criteria
Provide excellent service in response to a caller?s questions and concerns
Thorough communication with inbound callers to ensure that all necessary information is received, while showing empathy for the potential client
Return all calls same day and spend an adequate time on call to fulfill the client?s needs
Arrange client appointments with attorneys and investigators
Electronically sign new clients through text and e-mail
Utilize various software for data entry, checklists, documentation, and interoffice communication
Produce letters to clients and make timely communication with callers and internal staff
Minimum Education and Experience
Inside sales experience
Outbound calling experience making ?cold? calls to consumers
High school diploma
Ability to type 50 wpm
Microsoft Office Skills a must
Preferred Experience and Skills
2+ years of inside sales or cold calling experience
Experience following phone scripts
Strong closing skills and ability to overcome objections
Call center/CRM software program knowledge a plus
Experience working with a team to target periodic goals a plus
Work Environment
This job operates in a fast paced, open floor environment where teamwork and individual initiative is expected. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Employee must be able to work an 8-hour workday between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and willing to work weekends at peak call times. No travel is expected for this position. Employee can expect base salary plus performance-based bonuses. Salary is negotiable based on inside sales experience.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
