Staff Accountant Job Opening in Manassas, Virginia - Management Company for multifamily housing is seeking a well-qualified Staff Accountant for their Manassas, VA corporate location. Successful candidate MUST have 5 years of accounting experience in the following areas:
STRONG A/P skills ? includes picking up the mail, opening and date stamping the mail, coding the invoices, scanning them and entering them into our invoice approval software (Nexus) . Cut checks on a weekly of Asset Additions/Capital Expenditures and how to code them. A/R ? deposit verification and monthly reconciliation process for the Residential Management modular of MRI. G/L and Vendor Statement reconciliations ? monthly. Along with the ability to write and post correcting journal entries. Posting of payroll journal entries as well. STRONG ability to reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis that have a large volume of credit card/debit card/ACH transactions. FINANCIAL STATEMENT PREPERATION. CPA IS NOT REQUIRED.
The company offers generous PTO, insurance benefits and 401K after 90 days ? with a matching % after one year. Salary range is $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 ? Based on experience.
