Senior Budget Analyst Job Opening in Arlington, Virginia - SG Professional Consulting Services Corp, a small Federal contracting firm is looking for a strong Senior level Budget Analyst for a Government Agency in the Arlington, VA area. Please note this position is contingent upon award and candidate must be able to start at the beginning of September.
Duties:
Monitor the execution of the budget
Ensures that the program funds are executed within guidance
Provide recommendations for and status of funds usage
Develop cost-benefit analyses of proposed budgetary and program actions and advise the Government Program Manager of most advantageous courses of action.
Develop annual program budgets based on guidance from senior leadership
Prepare, review, and finalize a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents
Requirements:
A bachelors degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting)
Minimum 10 years experience with cost, budget or schedule analysis or in related field
SAP based computer experience
Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Proficient in learning new systems
US Citizen/Green Card Holder
Desired:
Masters Degree
Federal government, especially Department of Defense, experience
GFEBS system
Secret Clearance
