Project Manager/Sr. Consultant Job Opening in South Jordan, Utah - Project Manager/Sr. Consultant project manager the 80?s for this role are: ? planning and execution - lead the proposal, planning, implementation and management of large-scale projects including: facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables; gather project tasks and resource requirements; track capital/expense labor hours, conduct procurement, monitor budget, risk mitigation, issue resolution and changes needed to achieve project success criteria ? team leadership - provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams. tailors the project process, tools, and techniques to meet unique project needs. identifies opportunities for improvement and contributes best practices and thought leadership to the pmo. ? communication and collaboration- develop and plan communication strategies to ensure status, risks, issues, changes, and escalations are communicated to senior management, project stakeholders, and it teams proactively; collaborate across business functions (e.g. it, development, qa, finance, legal, hr, etc.) to facilitate alignment and decision-making to successfully implement solution. additional responsibilities: ? scope management: work with primary stakeholders to define what is in and out of program/project scope. ensuring scope is documented and approved identifying the collective set of project deliverables. ? project timing: define project activities, sequencing of those activities and estimating level of effort. ? budgeting cost management: pull together the estimated cost for the project, identifying when expenditures will occur, overseeing the budget vs. spend throughout the projects life-cycle and incorporating controls to ensure the project stays within budget. ? gather
