Job Summary
Manages all aspects of the relationships of a specific area.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
· Manage sales activities for specific assigned territory.
· Works closely with all staff to oversee the sales function and to position products and services to achieve maximum sales potential.
· Responds to requests, inquires and complaints and ensures maximum good will from all transactions.
· Analyzes market statistics to develop sales campaigns and create sales quotas.
· Responsible for negotiating and implementing agreements
· Prepares reports for management and customers.
· Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
· Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned
METRICS
· Sales results: Orders, Invoices, Quotes. Sales Growth and Margin improvement.
· Sales results: Paid Invoices for all divisions, Repair and Distribution, Monthly and daily averages.
· Comparisons of past volume to current volume for specific time periods are a primary measurement.
· Projects and tasks assigned will be tracked and measured- examples include, web demos, leads provided, target accounts, etc.
· Management by Objectives

Driver?s license with acceptable MRV
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Continuous driving
· Frequent walking
· Lifting requirements include occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds
BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN
Eligible for commission after successful completion of Training Period.
Employee Evaluation Summary
· Introductory review- Will be written approximately 90 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue .
· Monthly Reviews - Sales/GM revenue growth of assigned and/or complementary products.
· Annual Reviews - Sales/GM revenue growth of assigned and/or complementary products. Quantitative performance and measurement of activity. Overall performance and dependability. Job knowledge.
WORK SCHEDULE
Work schedule is from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This is a minimum expectation. Often projects and assignments will extend beyond the normal workday. Come to work on time and adhere to accepted time off policies.

Required Experience
· Experience in or exposure to Industrial Automation or a related field is required.
· Previous Sales experience a plus but will consider other experience in related areas.
· Strong communication skills, problem solving skills, creativity and the ability to manage multiple tasks required.
· Requires the ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
· Technical or Industrial product knowledge required
Education & Experience
· 3-5 years' experience in a Sales related position
· Technical or Industrial (Industrial Automation or related) product knowledge required
