Inside Sales Account Executive Job Opening in Grand Rapids, Michigan - We are looking for a forward thinking, experienced Inside Account Executive to sell our hosted cloud based telephone system for businesses through an inside sales model. You will be responsible for generating Monthly Reoccurring Revenue (MRR) quotas on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed all sales targets and performance metrics
Maintain a sufficient pipeline to maintain quota achievement
Work collaboratively with the Field Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing and other departments to optimize sales territory and opportunities
Provide and/or coordinate appropriate resources, such as on-line demonstrations and proposals, in order to educate prospects and advance sales cycles
Ensure smooth client hand-off to Operations through complete documentation and proper expectation-setting with clients
Participate in tradeshows, conferences, and events that provide lead generation for the entire sales team
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of ShoreTel?s products and services, the telecommunications market, key players, and critical industry trends
Build and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in
Ensure all pertinent data is entered into
Maintain a high level of phone and email activity with potential clients
Requirements:
4 to 8 years of proven inside sales experience selling software as a service or telecommunications solutions (SaaS, UCaaS, Cloud applications, VoIP)
Experienced in selling both applications and services preferred
Demonstrable and quantifiable success generating and closing new business over the phone
Experience with consultative sales methodology strongly desired
Proven track record of exceeding quotas and goals
Excellent communication, and organization skills
Proficiency with the Internet, MS Office, and (or other similar CRM system)
A competitive, driven, and accountable personality
Thrive in a high-tech, fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
