WHAT YOU GET TO DO
As the Financial Analyst, you will join a close-knit group of 10 others to make up the Accounting & Finance team here at Hayden Homes. If you enjoy completing tasks, problem solving, thinking outside the box, pursuing your curiosity, and working toward a common goal with a like-minded group of people, you could be the person we?re looking for! In this industry the learning never stops whether it?s evaluating a new relationship with a title company, finding the most efficient way to process land purchases, or diving into the data and reporting on your findings. You will join a dynamic team of driven individuals who work hard and play hard.
You will be challenged to grow through:
Working with title/escrow companies and lenders to complete land and lot purchases in accordance with existing agreements.
Working with lenders to ensure that lots and homes are financed in a timely manner.
Ordering and managing appraisals.
Collaborating with other disciplines within the company to compile feasibility information used in the evaluation of new land opportunities.
Reviewing and analyzing both internal and external data and presenting findings to management and other audiences.
Producing ad hoc analysis as a result of specific questions and needs that will arise.
Constantly seeking new ways to improve processes.
Communicating and educating a variety of audiences regarding your work and findings.

WHAT YOU NEED
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of progressive, relevant experience required.
Experience in home building or real estate accounting/finance is favorable but not required. We are very willing to train the right candidate.
Required Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, to various audiences
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
Ability to creatively solve problems with minimal supervision
Ability to work well with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Travel: Approximately 5% annually with travel to regional operations within Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The employee will use their own vehicle when traveling.

Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role but occasionally is required to reach with arms and use hands and fingers to grab, pull, push, lift and at times will need to stand, crouch, crawl, stoop, and bend. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds or more.
