Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts
Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy
Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally
Ensure new customers and business is fostered
Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology; responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for quotations (RFQ)
Prepare presentations and delivering to prospective clients
Meet assigned sales targets and KPIs
Work collaboratively with the operational staff (inside sales) to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met.
Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of products and services.
Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.

Requirements of the Transportation Brokerage Sales Representatives will include:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally
Ability to bring on, close and deliver new business
Out-going, ?Hunter? personality
Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Pro-Active.
Organized, detail-oriented ? excellent follow-up skills are essential
