Job Summary: The Home Health Sales and Marketing Liaison is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic market plan for Home Health to meet revenue and census goals.
Essential Functions:
Develop and drive the Home Health strategic marketing plan and goals.
Develop service referrals by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources including physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospital case managers and discharge planners and other potential referral sources. Identify and develop new sources of referrals.
Actively establish and maintain market awareness, acceptance and branding of the Home Health services.
Represent Crystal and its services in a competent, professional and responsive manner while maintain standards of high quality customer service that is in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Continuously analyze the service area, competition and regulatory and payor environment for opportunities to improve the marketing strategy and increase referral sources.
Maintains current knowledge of Home Health Medicare regulations and guidelines.
Effectively and accurately communicates Federal and State regulations governing the Home Health industry.
Performs other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, healthcare or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-3 years of Home Health/Healthcare Sales, Marketing, & Business Development experience.
Demonstrated history of positive sales results, preferably involving sophisticated and meaningful customer relationships that led to outstanding results.
Excellent communication, negotiation and public relations skills.
Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
Ability to work some weekends.
Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
Ability to be creative and think outside the box and have fun doing so.
Health care background preferred.
