Job Description
We are looking for a successful IT Managed Services Salesperson that has a proven track record of building relationships and proven performance who will be responsible for lead generation to build a qualified pipeline and new business revenue for our company. In this role, you will contribute your skills to help us increase sales opportunities, improve market position, and maximize our new business development efforts and secure new sales.
Candidate must be looking for a full-time job that he or she can grow with. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to generate new leads. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, results-driven, confident, enjoys building relationships in a fast-paced setting and brings knowledge of technology solutions to our customers. A strong understanding of IT concepts is a must.
Responsibilities
New client acquisition will be the primary goal of this position
Identify and develop new business by prospecting, networking, cold calling and referrals
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to decision-makers
Follow up with prospective clients by calling or meeting with prospective clients
Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of prospects and ensure continuous population of immediate and long-term opportunities
Utilize a consultative sales paradigm, to gain a clear understanding of client?s overall business and IT strategies
Maintain CRM, entering all relevant activity and information on a daily basis including new prospecting and sales opportunities
Negotiate contractual terms and conditions including price, payment terms and deliverables.
Provide weekly and monthly reports of your activities
Requirements
Minimum 2 to 3 years of Information Technology Sales Experience (preferably IT Managed Services) selling enterprise solutions in the small to mid-size enterprise market
Ability to work autonomously and be self-starter, self-motivated, self-managing and driven to plan and execute rigorous lead generation activities
Experience in giving guidance in IT investment strategy, benchmarking and managed services value propositions
Ability to effectively articulate the benefits of managed services, outsourcing and cloud services to prospects
Strong understanding of computers, technology and cloud computing
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must have a willingness to learn and expand his or her knowledge regarding IT Support & Managed Services
Must demonstrate ability to successfully meet quota and sales objectives
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
