Oracle Financials Functional Analyst Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Value Global, LLC is currently seeking an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant for an ongoing project for one of our Oil and Gas clients in Houston, TX. This engagement is intended for 4 ? 5 months.
The Consultant in this role will have knowledge of Oracle R12 Modules: General Ledger (Web ADI journal entry, Automatic Reversals, Journal Import troubleshooting etc.), Accounts Payable (create accounting troubleshooting, Journal Import, basic set up changes etc.), Projects (basic set ups of projects module)
Knowledge of SQL query tools: TOAD/SQL Developer
Working knowledge of Configuring and changing Flexfields, Descriptive Flexfields, look ups, value set etc.
Working knowledge of Sysadmin functions like User Access, Responsibility and Request Group management, Monitoring Concurrent Program etc.
Experience in Support role for Month End processes
Experience working in a multi-application environment where business processes and data flow to and from Oracle
Coordination between end user and IT groups
Oil and Gas background is preferred
