Semi-Senior Accountant Job Opening in East Meadow, New york - East Meadow preparation firm seeking semi-senior accountant with 2 or more years experience, to input client bookkeeping data into QuickBooks accounting software on a monthly basis in order to produce QuickBooks reports. The duties include, data input, bank reconciliations, sales tax preparation, payroll tax preparation, client telephone contact, and responding to various tax notices. Ideal candidate must be organized, able to work independently and have a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software. Accounting degree a plus but applicable practical work experience will be considered. Please do not apply if background is not specifically in the accounting or bookkeeping field.
