Customer Service Sales Representative Job Opening in Columbia, Maryland - While many banks have curtailed their mortgage operations, Howard Bank is expanding its Mortgage Sales staff. We're looking for energetic individuals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated and enjoy working in a team-oriented atmosphere. We provide ALL LEADS thru some of the most reputable lead sources such as Lending Tree, and we provide initial/ongoing training so the Mortgage Banker can excel at their profession. Sales experience is preferred, but not required. Prior mortgage experience is not a requirement. 4 year college degree preferred or extensive sales experience. Job Summary :
This position is responsible for contacting and assisting individuals to acquire home mortgage loans. Analyze and verify the necessary information to generate loan applications and determine customer eligibility to qualify for a home mortgage loan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls using a dialing system to customers seeking a mortgage loan.
Communicate to customers their loan options and make recommendations based on information that was provided.
Collect all necessary information to complete a mortgage loan application.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.*Maintains a Thorough Working Knowledge of and Adheres to Howard Bank's Organizational Policies, Regulations, and procedures.
Maintains Confidentiality of Howard Bank's Organizational and Customer Related Information.
