Patient Care Coordinator (Plantation, FL) Job Opening in Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. provides high-end radiology services with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging facilities ready to serve our community in four locations: Ft. Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, and Coconut Creek. Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. is committed to delivering friendly, efficient and compassionate patient care.
We are currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Plantation facility.
Applicant must be a team player, display a compassionate and positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to multitask.
Role and Responsibilities
The Patient Care Coordinators are the first impression makers when our patients arrive at our facilities. This role requires friendly, organized and professional individuals with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include checking in patients, answering telephones, administrative tasks, collecting co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance payments, communicating with our technologist and other duties related to patient care/front desk duties.

Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications
Must have over 2 years of experience in a medical and/or customer service capacity
Advanced customer service skills and experience
Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, leadership, self-control, and maturity in work and behavior
Exhibit calm responsiveness to emergency or stressful situations
Expected to recognize situations which require notification of a supervisor
High achievement in productivity
Identifies opportunities to improve
This position requires high-level problem solving and analytical skills, technical accuracy, excellent communication skills and the highest ethical standards
Compensation and Benefits
Diagnostic Professionals, Inc. offers an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision (and more) for those working over 30+ hours a week as well as competitive pay. This position is full time located in Plantation, Florida.
Education and/or Minimum Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
2-5 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area
Some college coursework is preferred
Bilingual a PLUS
