CIOX Health is currently seeking qualified professionals for an Area Client Service Representative (Bilingual) to process medical record requests in West Palm Beach, FL. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years experience in customer service, medical records or ROI experience and be familiar with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
Customer service experience (3+ years)
Healthcare experience including HIPAA regulations
Data Entry, 40-50 wpm, heavy phone experience and ROI experience a plus
Client facing and patient facing experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
THIS POSITION REQUIRES DRIVING
Completes release of information requests including retrieving patient?s medical chart and returning chart, scanning medical record accurately and correctly and transmitting daily, according to requests, established procedures, and established standards of quality and productivity.
Date stamps all requests and highlights pertinent data to facilitate processing.
Validates requests and authorizations for release of medical information according to established procedures.
Performs quality checks on all work to assure the accuracy of the release, confidentiality, and proper invoicing.
Maintain equipment in excellent operating condition (inside and out) and troubleshoot equipment issues with assistance from the Help Desk department.
