Snowing in Space Coffee is a nitro cold brew coffee company in Charlottesville, VA that is growing rapidly and expanding distribution of their line of kegged and canned nitro cold brew coffee products to Northern Virginia.
To ensure the success of this program, Snowing in Space Coffee is seeking a highly motivated, fun, energetic, outgoing nitro cold brew coffee loving Sales Rep to sell our creamy, delicious nitro cold brew coffee that will knock your socks off! This is a growth position so we?re seeking an experienced, self?starter that is motivated to grow with us.
The primary focus of this position is to espouse the virtues of nitro cold brew coffee to motivate key on-? and off-?premise accounts and distributor sales teams to feature great nitro coffee more often.
Some of the components of this multi-?faceted job include:
increasing distribution, displays, on-? and off-?premise features and promotions, staff training, POS (point-?of-?sale) management, and leading the thought about good coffee within the distributor and in the marketplace. Accomplishing such feats requires an outstanding person who has demonstrated incomparable work in previous jobs within the packaged beverage industry.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business plan to grow the Northern Virginia Market.
Build & execute Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Plans to achieve Annual Market Goals.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retailers.
Represent the company at festivals, tastings and events.
Manage POS & execute marketing strategy throughout the territory.
Execute quarterly sales targets
Sell in and conduct training programs with retailers, and consumers on Snowing in Space portfolio

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Candidates must demonstrate examples of being a self-?starter and possess strong organizational skills -? at a company of our size, the ability to create your own direction is vital
The job requires an excellent work ethic, knowledge of/or eagerness to learn about nitro cold brew coffee, extensive passion for great nitro cold brew coffee, and the ability to grow Snowing in Space?s business at the retail and distributor level
Must be able to lift 35lb cases and maneuver and place 163lb kegs.
This position requires some night and weekend work.
Extensive car travel is required -? Driving up to 200 miles on a travel day
Required Experience & Education
The focus of the job is to work with distributors and key retailers to build Snowing in Space?s business in the Charlottesville market. Consequently, experience working with distributors and suppliers is critical to success in this position.
This position requires computer knowledge and proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite (including the ability to enter, retrieve, and interpret data in spreadsheets), the ability to understand the market planning process, a basic understanding and use of selling skills, public speaking skills, and the ability to express oneself in an articulate, succinct and professional manner.
3+ years experience in beverage sales experience with a manufacturer, distributor or retailer (or similar relevant business experience)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Position initially reports directly to Founding Team
