Optometric Technician Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - Full-time position. Minimum of 18 months of previous work experience in a medical environment is REQUIRED.
Primary Duties: Patient chart prep and filing; verifying insurance coverage; operating OCT, Retinal Photography, and Visual Field equipment; obtaining patient history and lifestyle information; functioning as a medical scribe to document doctor's exam room findings; opening, disinfecting, and closing exam rooms daily.
Qualifications: High volume customer service environment experience; appreciation and respect for top quality patient/customer care; ability to thrive in a growing business while learning best practices; attention to detail; commitment to teamwork; computer and phone proficiency. In this role, you will have continuous learning opportunities. Support is provided to earn certifications: Certified Para-Optometric (CPO) and Certified Para-Optometric Assistant (CPOA). Tuesday mornings are dedicated to staff training and professional development.
