Senior Accountant / Audit
Seeking a qualified Senior Accountant candidate with their BS Degree in Accounting / Finance with strong audit of internal controls experience in JSOX. This Senior Accountant position is a role designed for exposure to the various areas of Accounting within the organization. We are seeking high achiever candidates with strong academic achievements and good work experience with internal audit and controls in JSOX with from public accounting or from consulting firms. Responsibilities and Requirements:
Internal Controls, JSOX compliance, documentation, testing and procedures
A nalyze and preparation of various corporate reports( audit, account reconciliations, credit, cash, working capital, internal controls)
Assist with external audit preparations
Plant and corporate financial performance and variances reporting
Help to facilitate month end closing pr ocess and prepare internal financial reports and provide financial statement consolidation oversight Required Skills, Education, and Experience
B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance
CPA in process or completed ? desired
3 to 5 years of work experience in public accounting / consulting firm accounting with strong experience in JSOX compliance and procedures
Internal Controls, JSOX compliance engagements, documentation, testing and procedures experience
Good knowledge of GAAP, e xperience with internal controls
Strong experience in month end close procedures, analysis and reconciliations
Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office and Excel
Larger ERP systems accounting experience
