Systems Analyst Job Opening in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma - EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Fulltime, 12-month contract
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT (Information Technology), MIS (Management Information Systems), or related field.
Experience:
Systems Analyst with 2-3 years in software/system: analysis, design, development, documentation, gathering requirements, implementation, maintenance, planning, process improvement, project management, testing, training, teamwork, general consulting skills, and software architecture.

Collaborate with external resources and vendors when appropriate to make progress toward goals.
Build and frequently update internal documentation regarding software development and customizations.
Maintain current knowledge of new computer technologies that benefit the district.
Recommend new methods of using computer technology as necessary.
Effectively communicate a highly technical and constantly changing subject matter in non-technical terminology to non-technology staff and users.
Participate in overall business technology planning, bringing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.
Exercise considerable independent judgment to analyze, develop, and recommend plans and solutions to operational, management, business process.
Design and develop software systems by writing quality, stable, scalable, and maintainable code based on internal business requirements.
Design, develop, and support interfaces for systems across the enterprise ? Canvas, LANDesk, Mizuni, and PowerSchool?etc.
Advise the Technology Services areas of development to include Canvas, LANDesk, LANDesk Service Desk, PowerSchool, Mizuni, and Google Apps for Education programming, Desktop Support, Service Desk Call Center, IT (Information Technology) Technicians.
Design, develop, document, implement, and maintain interfaces between new and legacy systems.
Contribute and support the vision of the and ensure its on-going quality.
Design, develop, and support project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of business systems.
Perform quality assurance testing and modify existing software to correct errors to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Extend the modular framework upon which the application's functionality will be built.
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
Develop, maintain, and manage relational databases to facilitate/support systems analysis.
Problem-solve and maintain using a methodical implementation process.
Maintain and file all code using version control software and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Technology Officer.
