Sales Support Representative Job Opening in New York, New york - As a Sales Support Representative you would be responsible for handling incoming calls and processing customer product and sample orders, inventory price/stock checks, web orders/web access maintenance, new and existing account maintenance.
This position supports the Schumacher Sales Team who sells fabric, wallcovering and furnishings to the interior design community. It is a highly visible role that plays an important part in supporting the company?s sales efforts.
YOU WILL :
Respond to and manage all inquiries in a timely and professional manner ensuring accuracy of information.
Handle telephone traffic& route calls
Enter sales orders into Sales Pad.
Receive and respond to all web inquiries and process such orders.
Resolve sales order issues, and provide order changes status information.
Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts; including new customer credit applications & credit reference requests
Respond to client requests, phone and website inquiries regarding order status and processing
YOU HAVE :
Demonstrated passion for excellence in providing the best customer experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and change direction based on business needs.
Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Action oriented and enjoys working hard/smart.
Ability to learn on a fly. Learns quickly when facing problems; open to change; resourceful in finding solutions; enjoys challenges.
Team player, cooperative, easily gains trust and supports peers; encourages collaboration. Able to work well with others in a fast paced environment.
Territory analysis, sales & marketing of all company brands and territory management.
Identify growth opportunities including high potential customers & new accounts.
YOU KNOW:
BA or BS degree preferred
1-5 years? experience in a call center and or experience in home furnishings, textiles, or other business related fields where demonstrated problem solving and customer resolution methods have been employed.
Focus and aptitude for the major design industries is helpful but not essential.
