Inside Sales K-12 (Mathseeds) Job Opening in New York, New york - Are you energetic, results driven, self-motivated sales professional? We are seeking an Inside Sales professional in our New York, Flatiron based office responsible for generating, qualifying and closing new business opportunities with K-12 school and districts. You will work closely with the marketing and customer engagement teams to retain our existing customer base. In addition you have had prior experience in both new and renewal inside sales, with a working knowledge of the K-12 education sector or SaaS based sales environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate with educators about our digital product offerings and the importance of early childhood numeracy skills becoming a trusted resource for them.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Close new business sales and achieve quarterly revenue quotas.
Achieve yearly renewal targets for assigned territory base.
Provide excellent customer service using professional communication skills.
Generate additional revenue by up-selling and cross selling via inbound and outbound calls.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
Update management with results and opportunities.
Experience working in a high demand and multi-tasking environment.
Proactive, positive, energic and hungry for success.
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years sales or customer service with outbound responsibilities.
Proven inside sales experience with a desired minimum of two years cold calling experience.
Experience working with CRM systems or similar to manage sales process.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a can-do attitude including fast responsiveness to customer calls and professional phone presence.
Independent, self-motivated, highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
Coachability, openness to feedback, and dedication to consistent self-improvement.
Track record of over-achieving sales goals.
