The AD Systems concept began in 2009, originally designed as an interior storefront configuration for commercial interiors concerned with acoustical mitigation and space savings. This ?office front? solution was tailored to the needs of higher end corporate clientele where customized design features were desired, such as roller blinds and synchronized double doors.
These doors provided superior privacy for meetings as well as overall ease of use. As the line evolved, the doors became a solid solution for facilities looking for top tier function with a beautiful aesthetic and became particularly popular for healthcare projects such as outpatient clinics, urgent care and MOB facilities as well as patient restrooms.
About the Position
The Inventory Coordinator manages material planning, inventory control, storage, shipping and receiving functions. all aspects of production inventory maintenance and expedite material required for regular production, new product development, and engineering. Coordinate Engineering changes implementation on the Production line.
Position Requirements

Responsible for inventory control throughout the plant
Analyzes inventory records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving and excess stock.
Investigates for root causes of inventory discrepancies and recommend and implement corrective action.
Perform the duties of daily cycle counts, bin location audits, invoice adjustments and discrepancies.
Perform receiving transactions of material into database system and verify delivery quantities.
Clearly communicates verbally and in writing; encourages an open exchange of information and viewpoints; actively listens to others.
Readily adapts to competing demands and shifting priorities; maintains composure and patience in difficult circumstances.
Recognizes a problem; pursues various perspectives in reviewing the problem; takes decisive actions on solving problem; implements solutions to problems.
Assists purchasing in establishing min/max stock requirements.
Help maintain First-in/First-out (FIFO) system of material usage in production
Transport materials from receiving to production floor.
Perform material audits, cycle , initiate and/or coordinate corrective action necessary to assure physical inventory and accounting system are in alignment.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under general supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate?s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge:
Exceptional organizational skills.
Able to act proactively and alert appropriate channels when issues arise.
Ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
Good attention to detail and data entree accuracy.
Requires good written and verbal communication skills, basic reading and math skills.
Good manual dexterity, basic computer skills including the use of MS Excel, and eye/hand coordination.
Experience with inventory management and controls.
Experience with MS Office and Outlook.
3 years? experience in control, purchasing or related materials function.
Knowledge of MRP systems and processes for supporting and maintaining manufacturing operations.
Must be skilled in computer usage including Windows, spread sheets, and word processing.
INFOR experience preferred.
Computer Skills: General Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the following software;
MS office, Word processing, Spreadsheets, Flowcharts, Internet, E-mail, Database Tools, Acrobat or Bluebeam.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Under 1/3 of the time , this worker will be; standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Lifting to 25lbs.
Over 2/3 of the time , this worker will be; Sitting, using hands and fingers, handling, feeling, talking and listening (hearing)
Vision requirements ; Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment:
Majority of work involves sitting at a computer for extended periods of time in an office environment. Periodic visits to the manufacturing shop are required for consulting with others on projects under construction.
The noise level in the office environment is low/moderate. The noise level in the manufacturing area is moderate to high.
Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area
This worker will be mostly in a moderate noise level environment.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand.
