Controller Job Opening in Morgantown, West virginia - Regional Eye Associates and Surgery Eye Center of Morgantown have an immediate opening for a Controller. This position reports directly to the CEO of the company.
Controller oversee the activities of the Finance Department for the accurate and timely preparation, dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual budgets for numerous companies. Analyzes and makes financial recommendations on expanding or maintaining the practice. Provides means of measuring financial goals throughout the year. Institutes and monitors cost controls, and financial checks and balances. Consults advises, and assists the CEO and Board in providing leadership and direction in planning, directing, and coordinating the finances of the organization.
This position involves administering Financial and Facilities policies, programs and practices. Supports the organization?s mission, vision, values, strategic goals, and objectives. Reinforces the organization?s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching.
Qualifications: accounting degree from a four-year college or university with 10 years related experience. C.P.A. or masters in accounting/finance is a bonus.
REA & SEC is a large single specialty with multi sub-specialists. The eye practice has 10 doctors & 110+ team members who work out of six offices including four in WV (Morgantown, Fairmont, Bridgeport, & Petersburg) and two in MD (Cumberland & Oakland). The financial department currently consists of two team members. We are in the process of a complete conversion of financial software to Sage 100. Payroll is being outsourced as new electronic HR & Benefit modules are being implemented. The SEC surgery center is in Morgantown. The practice plans to grow substantially over the next few years. We are looking for a Controller who will assist in the growth of the company.
Compensation, incentive bonus is commensurate with work experience; other benefits i.e. 401K & PS, Health Insurance, PTO, CE etc.
