Recruiter Job Opening in Bangor, Maine - Summary Responsible for full-cycle recruitment, partnering with hiring managers from the requisition stage to the employee's first day. As part of our Talent Acquisition team, The Recruiter focuses on recruitment of positions throughout Covenant Health. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating the candidate process to recruit and retain top talent for Covenant Health. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Builds and maintains excellent relationships with internal and external customers to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), schedules appropriate pre-employment checking, and communicates offers of employment with selected candidates Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, and any additional required processes Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process Demonstrates a good understanding of our talent pool across markets and the system Utilizes various sources to identify and attract quality candidates Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations Participate in significant Human Resources initiatives. Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues. Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health and the Catholic Health Ministry. Job Requirements Job knowledge and skills Demonstrable commitment to the highest standard of ethical and professional conduct full cycle recruitment experience. Have excellent internal and external customer service skills. Possess attention to detail and extremely organized to handle multiple things at one time. Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communications skills Education & Experience Associates degree required. 2 years of recruitment experience, healthcare preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements. Working Conditions/Physical Demands Normal office environment.
