VP - Corporate Planning Job Opening in Evansville, Indiana - United Fidelity Bank is a community bank that has been in business for over 100 years with 18 banking centers to date. The bank was founded, and has it's headquarters in Evansville, Indiana, but has locations not only in Evansville (5), Mount Vernon (1), Newburgh (1), Fort Branch (1), and Carmel (1), Indiana; Chicago (2) and St. Elmo (1), Illinois; Aurora (1) and Denver (1), Colorado; Ft. Myers (1), Florida; Cincinnati (1), Ohio; and Christiansted (2), Virgin Islands.
Due to the growth of the bank their is a need for a VP of Corporate Planning who will report directly to the President and CEO. The Primary responsibilities:
Perform monthly financial analysis to analyze various results, monitor variances, identify trends, and make recommendations to management.
Review and define financial reporting enhancements by generating reports based on findings, make assurances of effective reporting, and collaborate with all departments.
Prepare and define acquisition target analysis, such as principal areas of risk, earnings, cash flows, and balance sheet implications, and the best way to finance.
Perform peer bank financial analysis on peer bank performances and bank industry trends.
Review transactions with affiliates tracking and qualifications.
Track all Multi-family CRA activities.
Perform due diligence management tasks
Perform acquisition financial analysis to determine the value of the target organization.
Create financial budgeting and prepare strategic planning plans
Perform efficiency analysis and financial project management
Position requires 3 to 5 years of experience in banking, and/or financial management field with the ability to see goals and objectives in the "big picture". Position requires a 4-year college degree with a strong emphasis in financial management, accounting, or related field. Post-graduate studies not required, but considered a plus.
