Our Corporate Mission is building a global platform for genomic data to serve hospitals and diagnostics laboratories, wellness initiatives, precision medicine and population genomics.
To meet increasing demand and growing number of opportunities we are expanding our software development teams, both in our Reykjavik office and in Cambridge.
We are looking for candidates with passion for software technology and ambitions to develop best in class solutions in the rapidly growing field of genomics and healthcare.
Part of our solution stack is the Sequence Miner, a rich-client application which provides end-users access to various reporting and analysis applications, database query tools for both genomic data and longitudinal clinical data, web-based file system, and a highly advanced genome browser.
We are extending the functionality of the application to support unique federated clinical and genomic analysis across multiple organizational instances, improved graphical capabilities for presenting research results and genomic data in the browser.
We are seeking individuals with experience in any of the following:
5-8 years experience required.
Java Swing or Java FX programming
Scientific data and statistical tools.
Familarity with graphical programming and genome browsers.
Working experience of SQL and RDBMS.
Knowledge of systems such as Transmart/I2B2, Bioconductor, or Galaxy
The Sequence Miner team is largely based in Reykavik, however, we are also looking for expanding this team to our Cambridge, MA office.
