Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst Job Opening in Kenosha, Wisconsin - As a proud advocate for manufacturing in the U.S.A., Kenall has become a champion in developing advanced lighting solutions, systems and controls for high abuse, transportation, security detention, and sealed enclosure for healthcare, cleanroom, containment and food processing environments. Kenall has an open position for a Senior Analyst .

This position will provide general accounting support to the Controller and Accounting Department with an understanding of the company?s products and customers. They will assist in solving problems, controlling budgets, and enforcing Company and accounting policies. Additional responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and selected P&L accounts on a regular basis

Assist the controller in all financial reporting and analysis

Responsible for preparing annual budget and maintaining updated monthly forecasts

Handle petty cash, perform bank reconciliations and record keeping in a timely manner

Perform administration of 401(k) and HSA funding, wire transfers, and other banking matters

Prepare journal entries, produce monthly financial reports and perform financial analysis

Assist in preparation of annual audits

Responsible for supervision of the Payroll Coordinator and all payroll activities including payments, deductions, tax and other third party reporting

Responsible for sales tax and other local tax functions

Responsible for enforcing controls with Kenall?s P-card program and processing for month end (i.e. auditing, reconciling and preparing journal entry for P-Card monthly expenses)

Create and maintain documented procedures for tax reporting, financial reporting and cash management activities

Must meet deadlines and established goals and provide timely communication on the status of tasks, projects, etc. to Controller, or others, as required

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field required

5+ years Accounting experience, including supervisory experience, is required

Payroll experience including payroll processes and controls is required

Epicor ERP system experience is a plus

Demonstrated ability to display strong customer service skills

Strong written and verbal English communication skills as required to discuss training, general direction and other position-related tasks

Highly computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. with at least a 90% Basic level and an 80% Intermediate level for Excel

Proven high level of self-initiative and dependability

Must be flexible to perform overtime duties, adjust schedule when required and pitch in as needed

Resourceful and highly organized with an attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability to manage, prioritize and balance multiple tasks

Must be professional in appearance and attitude and possess the ability to work in a professional manner with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels
