Senior Accountant Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - As a Senior Accountant at Oniqua, you will work in a small team to facilitate overall delivery of key finance support; focusing on payroll and general finance management with month-end accounting and reporting responsibility. Based in Denver and offered on a full-time basis, this position will be well suited to someone who is a motivated and collaborative.
Key responsibilities include
Maintain payroll information and coordinate the collection, calculation, and entering of payroll data into the payroll system.
Facilitating the overall payroll process, and associated supportive activities for both US and AUS regions.
Weekly oversight and full-cycle support associated with travel and expenses reimbursement.
Ensure compliance with the Company?s T&E policy and procedures and drive efficiency and cost savings through analytics, reporting and auditing.
Analyze expense reports and payment processing information and with managers and employees to resolve card, reports or reimbursement issue.
Review monthly timecards and management approvals to create journal vouchers for entry into the accounting system.
Analyzing multiple sources of information to prepare weekly and monthly productivity reports for relevant areas of the business.
Direct and reconcile transactions between all separate legal entities for internal and external reporting.
Assist the Global Accounting Team on projects relating to driving efficiencies in reporting.
Month end work including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and completion of other adhoc requests.
Assist with the preparation of monthly internal financial package.
General financial administration support.
Key skills and experience required:
5+ years experience working in a similar function
Thorough Accounting Knowledge (AASB - IFRS
Bachelor?s degree in Business (Accountancy)
Exposure to foreign taxation and payroll systems
Understanding of Group Consolidated Reporting
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Dedication to meet monthly reporting deadlines
Requires strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task and to learn new systems quickly.
