webMethods Systems Engineer Job Opening in Cincinnati, Ohio - Direct-Hire opportunity. Software Information Systems is looking for a webMethods Software Engineer for the Middleware team within IT. The Software Engineer is responsible for: working on major projects that may span a broad range of systems, providing subject matter expertise and technical direction; working closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with the business and IT strategies, and are in compliance with the organization?s architectural standards; application analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement, and also involved in complex support issues.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of experience in development and support of integration solutions
Minimum 6 years of knowledge of Software AG webMethods 8.x / 9.x product suite (Integration Server, MWS, Broker)
Minimum 4 years of experience developing with Service Flows, Adapter Connections, and Portlet technologies
Minimum 4 years of coding skills in Java (Java SE, Java EE, XML, XML Schema, XSD, XSLT/XPath and JSON technologies) and SQL (both Microsoft and Oracle)
Minimum 4 years of experience in developing SOAP/REST web services
Minimum 4 years of experience working with web services security
Minimum 4 years of experience with transmission protocols (http/s, ftp/s, sftp)
Minimum 4 years of experience documenting and communicating integration designs aligned to business requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience designing queries and working with standard object/relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL
Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in JDBC and Flat File adapters
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a complex n-tier enterprise infrastructure environment
Experience with Source control/Automated Build tools like Jenkins
Experience with Software AG webMethods Integration Server performance tuning experience, preferred
