Medical Practice Manager Job Opening in Kailua, Hawaii - We are seeking an experienced professional to be the Practice Manager of our multi-provider, multi-office dermatology and plastic surgery practice in Kailua and Honolulu, Oahu. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that offices policies and procedures are implemented effectively, increasing operational efficiencies, and supporting the delivery of high quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and management skills, and experience in a leadership position.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth operations, optimal efficiency, and the provision of excellent customer service
Ensure the recruitment, training, monitoring and support of highly effective staff
Ensure that office protocols and procedures are developed, followed, and kept up to date
Keep up-to-date on changing requirements for insurance and medical billing
Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Education
Required: Bachelors degree in health care, business management, or related field.
Desired Credentials: Certified Physician Practice Manager from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), Certified Medical Manager from the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management, or Certified Medical Practice Executive from the American College of Medical Practice Executives or equivalent coding certification from an accredited body.

Minimum Experience
?2-5 years Medical Practice Management experience in the healthcare industry
?2-5 years supervisory experience of at least 10 employees.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Initiative and the ability to problem solve
Interpersonal skills to lead and effectively manage staff
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of medical billing including ICD-10, CPT4
Knowledge of medical credentialing (inc. CMS)
Strong computer skills including familiarity with EMR, scheduling and billing software systems
Demonstrated high ethical standards
