Executive Assistant/Office Manager Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - The Hepatitis Eradication campaign of Rotary International is looking to fill the position of Executive Assistant . Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer in its Washington, DC office, this full-time employee will be responsible for contributing to the execution of the Hepatitis Eradication Rotarian Action Group ?s global campaign to rid the world of hepatitis through a rigorous program of testing and treatment and assisting the Chief Executive Officer with a variety of tasks to support the goals and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities :
Helping significantly and rapidly expand a new global office for the organization.
Identifying funding opportunities to underwrite the work of the organization.
Maintaining CEO calendar, handling travel logistics, and other tasks to facilitate CEO workflow.
Managing day-to-day internal office functions as directed by the CEO.
Maintaining and improving office efficiency, including direct cost-savings.
Reviewing corporate contracts (including insurance) with the assistance of the CEO and negotiating competitive bids with , as necessary.
Managing office staff calendars and assisting accounting consultants with tracking staff holidays/sick leave/vacation.
Coordinating various board activities.
Campaign support and outreach on all of the core issues of the organization.
Developing and maintaining partnerships and collaborative efforts with corporate partners and media contacts.
Assisting with grassroots outreach opportunities, both in person at events and through our online activist network.
Coordinating volunteers and their projects in consultation with the CEO and other coworkers.
Serving as a liaison between the Washington, DC headquarters and external offices.
Writing briefs and proposals, preparing talking points, and drafting board reports for CEO.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Bachelor?s degree.
Ability to work independently.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Commitment to the mission of Rotary International and the goal of global hepatitis eradication.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and complete tasks within a deadline.
Comfort working in a small office environment and commitment to growing the organization significantly in a short time-frame.
