Quality Improvement Advisor-Hospital & Physician Office Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Position is responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical and quality improvement activities to the assigned contract and/or project with designated providers, stakeholders and partners to help achieve better health care, better health, and reduce costs of health care through continual improvement. These activities may include evaluating appropriateness, efficiency and effectiveness, and recommending improvements through on-site visits, meetings, phone consultation and abstraction of data. May develop and present project information at statewide and national meetings. Experience in health information technology preferred (hospital or physician office setting). Presentation and communication skills in small and large group settings required. Effectively use and coach quality improvement methodologies. Bachelor?s degree required; education in a healthcare-related discipline preferred. Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical/health care setting required.
