OASIS Clerk/Team Assistant Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - ProHealth Home Health is currently looking for an energetic, self starter who is interested in working in an exciting, fast pace environment within our growing , form , -form { padding: 0px 1px 0px 0px;}
Some of the duties of our OASIS Clerk/Team Assistant include, but are not limited to:
Assists the Director of Outcomes Management in assuring compliance with all OASIS regulations and deadlines
Batches and transmits OASIS data to the Department of Health Services
Ensures that OASIS errors are corrected and resubmitted to DHS
Completes and monitors the OASIS submission spreadsheet(s) to ensure data can be accurately and efficiently navigated when requested
Works closely with the Director(s) of Clinical (s) to respond timely to requests for medical records
Uploads documentation to Kinnser, our EMR system
Assists in ordering DME, medical supplies, and other needs as requested by the DCS/Administrator
Answers and appropriately routes incoming calls to the intended recipient
Requirements of the Oasis Clerk/Team Assistant:
Computer literacy sufficient to accurately transmit OASIS data and make spreadsheet entries
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information related to OASIS
Familiarity with the healthcare environment, home health experience is a plus
