Software Engineer Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Position Overview
As a member of the Development Team at HealthMine, creating solutions that give members and clients meaningful guidance towards improving their health is your first responsibility. You?ll work with a diverse group of people that include but are not limited to product management, UX designers, quality assurance, and development teams. Responsibilities
Collaborate with other team members of mixed disciplines to design, develop, test, and support new features as well as enhance or improve existing features
Strive for a high team velocity without sacrificing quality along the way
While maintaining coding, and compliance of existing standards every member should be a voice for a better way
Help facilitate a culture of mentoring to both those that are more junior in experience as well as those more senior
Communicate and work effectively with other groups in the company
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in building and designing consumer web sites
Familiar with current JavaScript ecosystem and tools like ReactJS, Webpack, ES6.
Minimum 2 years of experiences with server-side frameworks for creating HTTP services like Spring Boot, MVC, or similar frameworks
Solid understanding of MVC, Oauth/SAML, and design patterns
Familiar with mobile development for Android and iOS, react-native experience is highly preferred, but not required
Minimum 2 years of experiences using relational database. Experience using NoSQL DB is preferred but not required
Experience with or interest in functional programming languages like Scala, Kotlin, or Swift
