Senior Developer Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Genesis Systems, Inc., Huber & Associates CPAs and Related Entities are a group of companies that provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services and other diverse activities. Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 30 years and continues to expand its operations.
This position is for an experienced Senior Developer for project design, managing development teams, active coding in JavaScript and C# in Framework and interfacing with other project team members (attending Senior Management planning and status meetings) to assure compliance with customers? needs/contracts. The position will develop work plans, supervise subordinate staff, and report progress risks to limit ?scope creep?. Additionally, you will attend Joint Application Design sessions to assist the Project Manager in assuring interpreting customer needs and assuring contract compliance.
Qualifications:
3+ Years of experience in a environment
Current or recent development experience/team lead in in a technically challenging environment.
Hands-on experience in Web & Database, SQL for large application development projects is required. This includes: C#, WCF, Entity Framework, Microsoft IIS, , , XHTML, AJAX, EXT JS, XML, OBJECT ORIENTED JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, JSON, LinQ, HTML, Relational Databases, SQL, and ORACLE
Understanding and knowledge of multi-tier portal architecture, web technologies, enterprise networking, distributed systems , distributed database management systems, groupware, as well as the latest networking and communications technologies.
Experience working with Imaging is a plus
Excellent writing skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with technical staff and customers
Competent in Microsoft Office products
Ability to travel as required by the project
