Registered Nurse - PACU (No weekends/holidays) Job Opening in Houston, Texas - The Outpatient Center is the newest addition to the Harris Health System, which is a vast healthcare network of 42 primary, acute and specialty care facilities in Harris County, staffed by faculty physicians and residents from Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
A new level of excellence for outpatient care in the community, the new Harris Health Outpatient Center dramatically improves our ability to provide highlly personal integrated healthcare to the people of Harris County, now and for future generations. The state-of-the-art, three-story outpatient care facility is home to more than 30 specialty clinics previously based at LBJ Hospital. The new 83,000 square-foot facility expects to accommodate as many as 100,000 clinic visits a year, and more than 4,200 outpatient or day surgeries.
We have immediate opportunities available for Registered Nurses with at least 1 year of Operating Room or PACU experience.
HOURS: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm. (No Weekends or Holidays)
Job Description:
The Nurse Clinician II independently and safely manages patients with problems common to patients in his/her assigned clinical area; recognizes when he/she needs assistance and seeks appropriate resources.
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
One (1) year full time experience as PACU Nurse
Must be adequate to meet the following communication requirements:
Accurately interprets and transmits clinical information in English, both verbally and in written form; and Sends and receives messages can comprehend.
