Psychiatric Technician Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - EXEMPLARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach classes related to mental health topics to clients and adhere to schedule.
Interact in all activities with clients including meals; assisting with preparation of meals when needed.
Assess vital signs on a regular basis.
Maintain documentation of client encounters in the medical record in accordance with the company and regulatory guidelines.
Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision, and report to supervisor in a concise timely manner.
Support and enhance the image, mission, goals, and philosophy of Volunteer Behavioral Healthcare System. Maintain a flexible and cohesive relationship with clients, co-workers, and the public.
Display flexibility in accepting additional assignments and assignment changes.
Actively seek new learning opportunities related to mental health.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATIONAL/ EXPERIENCE:
Must have High School Diploma or GED. One year of mental health experience preferred

Salary: $9.52 to $10.67 /hour
