Summer Childcare Needed ~ 3 School Age Boys Job Opening in eugene, Oregon - Summer Childcare Needed ~ 3 School Age Boys *I am looking for a U of O student that will be in Eugene for the summer, and is interested in having a "fun" job. The hours are somewhat variable, 6-8 hours per day and 2-4 days per week. I would like to find a person that is not looking to make a lot of money this summer, but instead just wants a little cash on hand. The pay is $10 per hour ~ no taxes. *There are days throughout the summer that I need you to be "on call", on these days I will not know if you are needed until that morning. So, flexibility is essential! *With that said, it is also important for my summer childcare provider to be very outgoing, silly, adventurous, and dependable. I have 3 boys, 7-11 years old. They are very active and independent, but will need help choosing outside activities, thinking of games to play, and some general supervision. I have hired U of O students for summer childcare for many years now, and have learned a lot about what I want. Your job with my sons, when their dad and I are gone, is to be better than a parent. By this I mean that they should be having way too much fun to want the TV or Wii on, they should be disappointed when I get home, and excited for you to come again. I want there to be some consistency in the day, not necessarily a "schedule", but to eat around the same time, maybe clean up at a certain time, etc. At some point there will be activities in town that they might want to do, (i.e. free movies at VRC) so having your own car is preferred. *If you feel that you would be a great person to entertain my sons this summer, then please send resume and a cover letter explaining why you are the best candidate for the job to my email: The candidates will be narrowed down by this information alone, and a select few will be emailed or called for interviews.
