Child Care Teacher's Assistant Job Opening in seattle, Washington - Child Care Teacher's Assistant Child Care Teacher�s Assistant Sunflower Kids Child Care is recruiting for a part-time Teacher�s Assistant who is patient, energetic, friendly, and enjoys working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-age kids. Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US. No prior experience necessary as training will be provided. We are looking for a person who enjoys learning many subjects, including early-childhood development, art, music, drama, dance, history, etc. Must complete State of Washington requirements to be a Child Care assistant including clean background check, clear TB test, and completion of FirstAid/CPR/HIV training (six-hour class typically offered on Saturdays). Duties include young children, changing diapers, and assisting with daily activities. Must be alert and proactive in responding to the needs of children and other staff persons. Must be able to push, lift, or carry children, equipment, etc. as needed. We value the ability to interact well with both children and adults. This job is part-time (10-25 hours per week) with the potential for full-time in the future. Scheduling flexibility is a plus. Note: we are closed evenings and weekends.
