Senior Financial Analyst Active DoD Clearance Job Opening in Kearneysville, West virginia - Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking Senior Financial Analyst (SME) to work for our company. This position is located in Kearneysville, WV.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for the following:
Provides leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives
Has domain and expert technical knowledge
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management
Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation
Provides support in the areas of budget, billing, reporting, and financial management for information technology (IT) initiatives
Analyzes an organization's performance and capabilities in areas such as order management, credit, and invoicing and dispute management
Works with customers to define and implement process, technology, and organizational improvements
Supports the definition of government financial business practices and incorporate processes into an automated solution
Assists in applying sound accounting and data processing principles
Integrates government financial business practices
Identifies potential problems and solutions through analysis and recommends solutions
Works with customers and applies best practices to effectively automate requirements
Applies applications, while adhering to established accounting principles and practices
May also be responsible for managing direct reports.
May also be responsible for making financial presentations to military professional and other executive stake holders.
Requirements:
Required 10 years? + of experience providing financial support services and management of large scale federal IT infrastructure projects for the U.S. Military.
Required Master?s Degree
Required active Secret Clearance (DoD DHS)
Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access
Must have experience with a wide range of financial accounting systems. i.e. (Deltek Cost Point)
Certifications in any of the following are highly desired (CFA), (CPA), (CAIA), (CFP), (FRM) and/or (FMC).
GAAP Analysis experience highly desired.
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Strong computer client interactions communications and skills required.
Must be extremely meticulous.
