Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Pelham, Alabama - Position Description:
Vulcan Steel Products has an immediate career opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative in Pelham, Alabama. This position encompasses all aspects of selling product and customer service for all three of our divisions: all thread rod manufacturing, cold drawn bar manufacturing and our heat treat mill. (Monday-Friday 40 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer's needs via phone or e-mail (quoting, order entry, shipping information, etc.)
Meet or exceed annual sales goals
Proactively pursue new business opportunities through communication and marketing efforts
Be able to effectively handle customer's complaints or concerns with a positive outcome
Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Customer service or sales experience preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to multi-task
Self-motivated to succeed
