Responsibilities include client consulting, supervising bookkeepers and personal and corporate tax preparation. Strong people skills a must.* Primary responsibility is to supervise and assist the bookkeeping staff with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.* Review and analyze monthly financial statements* Consult with business owners regarding issues with their financial statements* Handle new client installations and back work* Provide your clients with the proper consulting and tax planning* Tax Preparation of business and individual returns* Assist clients and staff with accounting and payroll software issues* Knowledge with Quickbooks is a must !* Other projects assigned. REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting* CPA or EA a plus!* 5+ years of public accounting experience required* Highly detail oriented and organized* Ability to meet assigned deadlines* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus. Salary will commensurate with experience.
