Non-Profit Controller Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - My client located in Atlanta, GA is looking for an Non-Profit Controller and reporting to the CFO
Supervise the training and development of at least 2 accounting staff, including providing the staff with the necessary guidance and training to fulfill their job responsibilities and giving them regular feedback on their job performance.
Responsible for performing and overseeing various tasks related to the month end close, including booking journal entries, preparing variance analysis and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Profit/Loss Analysis, revenue analysis, ad-hoc reporting, cash flow analysis
Work extensively with the Financial, Planning and Analysis group during month end close to explain forecast variances and unusual trends
Assisting with the monthly close, year end close, financial statement preparation
Responsible for providing internal and external auditors with information to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and quarterly audit requirements. Perform various projects on an as needed basis
Provide advice and guidance as necessary in preparing and analyzing timely and accurate financial reports and executing appropriate responsive actions
Provides advice and assistance to the Controller in analyzing and interpreting financial data and reports

Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics
Have 5+ years of Non-Profit Accounting or related experience.
Blackbaud Experience Required
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing goals through collaboration and teamwork and leading financial reporting, financial variance analysis, product line analytics, and product development analyses, and close process
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
