The Director of Sales is responsible for the sales planning, process and overall occupancy success of a Blake Management Group (BMG) managed community. This responsibility includes but limited to achieving maximum occupancy and revenue by attracting leads and converting these leads to residents. The Director of Sales reports directly to the Executive Director. This leader will be responsible for all sales activities and will work with each director within the community to optimize opportunities to show and sell an unmatched experience.
Qualifications:
Our candidates must have experience as well as a comfort level in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
· Experience in sales with either a related industry or senior living
· Demonstrated sales closing skills and experience
· Ability to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Strong capabilities in establishing lasting relationships with individuals and professionals.
· Must be able to collaborate and meet sales standards set by the Regional Director and Executive Director
· Ability to drive results and expectations with all teams involved in the sales process and keeping a building full (leadership, wellness, maintenance and activities)
· Ability to perform lead management with great organization and energy
· Self-motivated
· Must be able to balance the need to close sales within the building and develop relationships through a referral network of healthcare partners
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must demonstrate a positive, outgoing, and compassionate personality
· Willing to work weekends, at times schedule might need to be Tuesday - Saturday
Areas of Responsibility:
· Ensure that the first impression and tours are done with positive influencing techniques
· Discover needs of the lead or adult child inquiring for their loved one, so you can match those needs to our services and unique offerings
· Meet weekly and monthly to discuss sales objectives, variances and a path forward to meeting budgets
· Provide monthly sales and/or customer service training to concierge and weekend managers
· Ensures that all leads are followed up on within 24hrs of their online, phone or in person inquiry (even weekend leads)
· Proactively identify and forms relationships with the local healthcare partners to secure leads
· Plan and coordinate lead generating events each month
· Visits and analyzes competition so that we understand how to sell our value differentiators
Education:
Bachelor?s Degree and 2-5 years of experience, preferred
Associate?s Degree and 4-6 years of past experience
Computer Skills:
Proficient in cloud based operating systems, document management portal, internet browsing, email/Outlook and Microsoft applications like Word, PPT and Excel
