On-Site Program/Residence Manager - Social Worker Job Opening in Monroe, Washington - reSTART is currently seeking a dynamic On-Site Program Manager with a proven track record providing services in a Behavioral Health program/system.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations, managing and developing staff, assuring high quality care, sound fiscal operations, maintaining a strong referral base and compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards while continually monitoring the facility's services and delivery systems.
Job Summary:
Individual is responsible for the strategic design, overall direction, and operation of our adolescent program in Monroe, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Clinical Director
Supervised by: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Clinical Director
Workers supervised: Mental Health, Recreational, and Facilities Staff
Job Specific Standards:
Lead, teach and mentor life skills to youth (how to clean, cook, organize, manage their time, tackle a project, work in the garden, deep clean a room, repair an item, etc.)
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the program.
Supervise the case management and direct care staff; and
Ensure the completion of each person's plan of care and treatment plan.
Communicate circumstances and events of operations to supervisor and other appropriate people to keep all apprised.
Ensure adherence to quality improvement and program evaluation standards.
Make sure that programs and services are responsive to community needs, are of the highest quality and are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Willingness to maintain, clean, and organize the environment of care.
Provide direct care to individuals as needed.
Must be on-site in Monroe, WA at the center Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm
Staffing
Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensure regular reviews of staff performance are completed.
Individual Care
Establishes and evaluates the quality of client care and records documentation
General
Working knowledge of behavioral healthcare operations
Ensure the cleanliness of the center; willingness to pitch in to keep things organized and clean
Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
Adheres to reSTART Code of Ethics as well as ethical standards of the field
Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Engages other members of the management team to facilitate cross-department collaboration that ensures that all clinical and financial solutions positively support reSTART's evolving strategy, operational delivery, and data collection needs.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform this job.
:
Relevant clinically related master's degree with one year of experience working with children or youth; or
A bachelor's degree in social services or a closely related field from an accredited school and two years of experience working with children or youth; or
At least five years of successful full-time experience in a relevant field; and
Supervisory abilities that promote effective staff performance; and
Relevant experience, training and demonstrated skills in each area that s/he will be managing or supervising.
This position requires some local travel and flexibility of work schedule.
Additional Certificates and Licenses required:
Valid Washington driver's license with a driving record that meets agency requirements
Valid Washington State food handler's permit
Valid CPR (in-person) and First Aid Training
Pass criminal background check
Washington State Food Handlers Permit
