Accountant Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Looking for an energized self-starter to join our rapidly growing Realistate Investment Firm.
This is an opportunity to gain wide ranging experience and grow within a small team of goal-oriented members.
Our business has grown exponentially and we are looking to add to our family a dynamic individual with an understanding of GAAP and how QB works, an understanding of technology and how to use it to make processes more efficient (i.e. download multipage credit statements, manipulate and upload to QB), a general understanding of business relationships and wants to get rewarded for hard work, drive to succeed, initiative and results. The latter items are the most important to me as this is a rapidly growing entity that needs people that want to do what it takes to "stick with the winners". You must be hungry with an exceptional 'can do' attitude. Recent college grads with some intern or at least 1 year of experience are welcome!
Working hours: 8-5
Skills:Responsibilities include:
--Functioning within a fast-paced team environment of accomplishment,
--Assisting in the creation and maintenance of proper accounting controls,
--Taking ownership over collections, banking deposits, and recons
--Documenting financial transactions including some journal entries,
--Assisting in the maintenance and evolution of the tracking and information systems,
--Identifying and implementing more efficient processes and practices,
--Completing other tasks and projects as may be assigned,
Ability to Multi-Task is Essential.
Experience with QuickBooks Online Required.
Experience with Excel / Google Sheets Required.
Experience in Real Estate Accounting helpful, but not required.
Degree in Accounting/Related Field or Equivalent Experience Required.
