Overview
The primary responsibility of the GL Staff Accountant is to successfully contribute to and support the financial related functions of our West Coast operations based out of the Interior Logic Group headquarters in Atlanta, GA .

Required Skills:
Assist in month end close preparation of journal entries, review of general ledger activity, and preparation of account reconciliations
Prepare monthly bank to book reconciliations for all cash accounts
Maintain fixed asset subledger; track and record in-transit fixed assets and run monthly depreciation expenses
Maintain prepaid asset reconciliations; record prepaid assets and related amortization
Process AP, corporate credit cards, and expense reports for proper coding according to company purchasing and expense report policies
Manage payments approval and perform weekly check run
Maintain vendor master records, process new vendors, and assist in 1099 filing
Support financial audit process
Assist in ad hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to GL
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Excellent skills with Excel and Word
In-depth experience with Business Management Software ? RFMS and OneStream preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and thorough
Ability to manage workload, meet established deadlines, and work independently
Eagerness to learn and expand into new areas of responsibility
Physical Requirements
Mostly office environment, with much of the day spent sitting, but some physical tasks may be required such as lifting 25+ lbs. At times bending, kneeling or stooping may be necessary. Some car or air travel may be necessary.
