The purpose of this position is to promote and market The Marq Southlake ? Legends Hall as a premier destination for weddings, private events, and corporate meetings and functions. The Sales Specialist will serve as the lead sales person with working knowledge of methods and procedures used in the solicitation of special occasion and corporate meeting markets. This is accomplished by leading sales efforts for Legends Hall; soliciting and booking corporate and private events; building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business; conducting direct sales efforts through bids, targeted sales missions and sales calls; and assisting in the development of an annual sales plan and strategy for solicitation of weddings, private events, and corporate meetings and functions.
